Who we are
Mind Edge Method is a private professional practice run by Allan Galang and Helen Fong in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. For any question about this policy, or about information we hold, email info@mindedgemethod.com.
What we collect
When you send the consultation request form, we collect what you type into it: your first name, email address, phone number and your answer about where the pattern is showing up. We also note which page you came from, and the ad click code if you arrived from a Google ad.
If you become a client, we keep notes from your sessions, and a recording of a session when you choose to have one recorded.
Our website host also logs standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, as almost every website does.
How we use it
- To contact you about the consultation you requested.
- To send you emails from Allan: a short welcome series in your first days, then emails with ideas, client stories and invitations. Every email has a one click unsubscribe link.
- To deliver and support your sessions if you become a client.
- To learn which of our ads lead to consultations.
We never sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
Session recordings are your choice
Sessions take place by private video call. Recording a session is optional. Many clients like having a recording so they can replay the session and keep what they learned. Others prefer no recording. Either way is fine, and you decide before the session starts. A recording is used only for your work with us. It is never shared or published without your separate permission, and we delete it whenever you ask.
Your consent
By sending the form you agree to be contacted by phone, text or email about your request, and to receive Allan's emails. You can withdraw that consent at any time: click unsubscribe in any email, reply to any message, or email info@mindedgemethod.com, and we will stop.
Who else handles it
- Netlify, our website host, stores form submissions.
- MailerLite, our email service, stores your name, email, phone, your answer, the page you came from and the ad click code, so it can send Allan's emails.
- Google Ads sets cookies to measure whether an ad led to a form being sent. When a consultation is booked, we may tell Google Ads which ad led to it. Google does not receive what you wrote in the form.
- Zoom, our video call platform, carries your sessions and stores a recording when you choose one.
These services may store data outside Canada.
This is not health information
Mind Edge Method is not a regulated health service. Nothing you share becomes a medical record, a clinical file or an insurance claim, and nothing is filed with any healthcare provider, insurer, employer or institution.
How long we keep it
Consultation requests that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months. You stay on the email list until you unsubscribe. Client notes and recordings are kept only as long as needed to deliver and support the work, and you may ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw your consent. Email info@mindedgemethod.com and we will respond within thirty days at the latest.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to submissions, notes and recordings is limited to Allan Galang and Helen Fong.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
