Private Internal Pattern Resolution

It is not anger.
It is a pattern that fires before thought arrives.

The people who come to this practice are disciplined and accomplished. What brings them here is a three second window, in a meeting or in the car or at the kitchen table, that does not match the rest of who they are. That is not a character flaw. It is a stored pattern, and a stored pattern can be removed at the source.

18 years of practice 1 to 3 sessions, not 6 months Not therapy. No record.

Request a Private Consultation

A 20 minute private fit assessment. Every request is read by Allan or Helen personally, never by an assistant. Not every request becomes an engagement.

Received.

Your request is under review. You will hear from us within one business day to arrange a private time. Nothing further is required from you right now.

This is not a sales call. It is a private fit assessment. Entirely private. No institutional record. No obligation.

The Engagement Standard

If session one does not produce a measurable internal shift, the engagement does not continue and the balance is not charged.

That is the whole of it. There is no other version, and it has not changed since I started.
What We See Most Often

Almost everyone arrives having already tried to manage it.

Counting to ten. Breathing through it. Leaving the room before the sentence lands. Rehearsing a calmer version of themselves on the drive in.

And it works, right up until the moment it does not.

Then it fires anyway. The same tone. The same tightness across the chest. The same silence afterward, where everyone in the room adjusts slightly and nobody says anything.

Managing a pattern is not the same as removing one. Managed means it is still in there, waiting.

Here is the part that rarely gets calculated. A pattern like this does not stay the same size. It charges interest.

None of that is a discipline problem. The people this work suits have more discipline than most. The reaction is not the problem either. It is the last visible link in a chain that formed long before the career did, and it has been running ever since without permission.

Where It Shows Up

Four situations we see most often

The pattern underneath is the same in all four. What it costs is not. One of them usually sounds familiar.

Profile One

A leader whose reaction is costing them the room.

Competent, respected, and carrying a three second window that the team quietly plans around. The word "intense" gets used carefully in their presence. The blunter word never gets said to their face.

If this is you, start here
Profile Two

Composed all day, and it lands at home.

Work gets the composed version. The people they would do anything for get what is left at the end of it. They have apologised for the same thing more than once and meant it every time.

If this is you, start here
Profile Three

Nobody sees it. That is the whole problem.

Externally composed, senior, unreadable. Privately something arrives when things go quiet. They are not looking for support. They want it to stop, without it ever becoming a subject anyone discusses.

If this is you, start here
Profile Four

The work has been done before, and it came back.

Courses. Books. Often years of talking it through with someone qualified. They understand the pattern better than anyone around them does, and understanding it has never once stopped it firing.

If this is you, start here
The Diagnosis

Three patterns account for almost everything I see

Across every engagement I have run, the specific story changes. The structure underneath almost never does.

01

The Reactive Charge

Stored pressure locked to a specific trigger. It fires in under a second, which is why willpower arrives too late every time. You are not losing the fight. You are showing up after it ended.

02

The Avoidance Loop

The conversation you route around. The decision you defer. The room you leave. Each avoidance buys one day of relief and adds one week of weight. Compounding, quietly, for years.

03

Identity Weight

A version of yourself formed under conditions that no longer exist. You outgrew the circumstances. The identity never got the message, and it still runs the reactions.

The Difference

Most approaches teach you to hold the line. This one removes what you were holding.

What most have already tried

  • Techniques to apply in the moment
  • Talking about the history, session after session
  • 6 to 18 months of gradual progress
  • Coping tools that work until you are tired
  • Reframing the thought after the reaction has already landed
  • A file, a diagnosis, a record

What actually happens here

  • We locate the original charge, not the surface story
  • We discharge it at the source rather than manage it
  • We test it live, under the same trigger, in the same session
  • Most clients feel a measurable shift inside session 1
  • 1 to 3 sessions inside 4 weeks. Then you go live your life.
  • Entirely private. No institutional record.
The Engagement

The 3 Session Reset

Not a program. Not a subscription. A defined piece of work with a defined end.

Session One

Excavate

We find the actual origin of the pattern, which is almost never where you think it is. By the end of this session you will feel a measurable internal shift, or the engagement stops here and you are not charged the balance.

Session Two

Restore

The stored charge is discharged at the source and the trigger is tested live inside the session. You will feel the difference in your body, not just understand it in your head.

Session Three

Anchor

We lock the new response in place under real conditions so it holds when you are tired, under pressure, and unprepared, which is the only test that counts.

  • 3 private one to one sessions, in person in Vancouver or by videoIncluded
  • Live trigger testing inside every sessionIncluded
  • Written pattern map of what was found and what changedIncluded
  • Direct message access between sessionsIncluded
  • A follow up check one week after the final sessionIncluded
  • Complete privacy. Nothing filed anywhere.Standard
A Reminder

Session one either produces a measurable internal shift or the engagement ends there and the balance is not charged. You are risking one appointment, not three.

Qualification

This work is not for everyone, and I turn people away

Six engagements a month is the real capacity of one practitioner doing this properly. That is not a marketing number, it is arithmetic.

This is a fit if

  • You are already high functioning and this is the one thing that does not match the rest of you
  • You are tired of managing something you would rather be finished with
  • You want it handled privately, without it entering any system
  • You can commit to 3 appointments inside 4 weeks
  • You want the reaction gone, not explained

This is not a fit if

  • The situation is urgent and needs regulated care, which this is not and does not replace
  • You want someone to agree that everyone else is the problem
  • You are looking for the cheapest option available
  • You want to talk about it indefinitely rather than resolve it
  • Someone else is making you do this
Allan Galang, founder of the Mind Edge Method
Who You Would Be Working With

I am not a therapist. I am not a coach.

I am the founder of the Mind Edge Method, a rapid internal pattern resolution process I have been developing for 18 years.

I did not build a practice around it until 2023, because I did not think it was ready. Since then it has resolved this pattern for more than two hundred people.

I did not come to this through a clinic. I came to it through the mat. Eighteen years in martial arts teaches you something most rooms never will: a person under real pressure does not perform their training, they perform their patterns. You can drill technique for a decade and still get taken apart by one trigger you never resolved.

I spent years on the wrong side of that lesson, believing the answer was more control. More control on top of an unresolved pattern is just a stronger lid on the same pressure. It holds until the day it does not, and then it fails all at once.

That is the work. Not better technique layered on top. The pattern itself, removed at the source, then tested under load.

In 1 to 3 sessions. Not 6 months.

Helen Fong, Co-Founder of the Mind Edge Method

Helen Fong

Co-Founder and Relational Architect

Helen co-founded this practice and shaped how it treats the people inside it. The discretion standard, the decision to keep it small, the refusal to run this like an intake pipeline: those are hers as much as mine.

Her title is not decorative. She designs how a person is met, what they are told, and what they are never asked to do. The reason nothing here behaves like a funnel is that she would not allow it to.

The sessions are mine. Every consultation, every session, and every follow up is run by me, which is also why this practice takes six engagements a month rather than sixty. Helen is the reason the six people who get in feel like people rather than bookings.

Before You Get In Touch

Every question I get, answered plainly

What does it cost?

I give you the figure on the call, and I would rather explain why than leave you guessing at it.

A number on its own tells you nothing. Whether this is expensive depends entirely on what the pattern has already cost you, and what another year of it would cost. Neither of us can weigh that in the four seconds it takes to read a price on a page.

What I will tell you now. This is a private engagement and it is priced as one. It is not the inexpensive option and it was never designed to be. There is nothing to buy on the consultation itself, no second call, and no follow up sequence. If it is not right for you I will say so before you have to ask. And because of the Engagement Standard, what you are actually deciding on is one session, not three.

How is this different from talking to a professional?

Regulated professionals do valuable work, and for some situations they are exactly the right call. This is something narrower. It is a private engagement focused on one outcome: locating a stored pattern and removing it. There is no assessment, no file, and no claim.

If a situation calls for regulated care, I say so on the consultation and point the person toward it. I have done that before and I will do it again. It costs me an engagement and it is still the right call.

How can this take 3 sessions when other approaches take years?

Because we are not working on the story. Most approaches spend months examining the history around a pattern. We go to the point where the pattern formed, discharge the charge holding it in place, then test it against the live trigger.

When the charge is gone the reaction has nothing left to run on. Understanding a pattern and removing one are two different pieces of work, and most people have only ever been offered the first one.

What actually happens in session one?

We identify the trigger precisely, trace it back to its origin, and work directly on what is stored there. Near the end I will deliberately bring the trigger back up to test it. That test is the entire point.

Most clients feel a distinct internal difference before they leave the room. If you do not, the engagement stops there and the balance is not charged.

Do I have to tell you the whole story?

No, and this surprises people. We need the trigger and the point of origin. We do not need a detailed account of everything that happened, and for a lot of clients that is the reason they finally do this work rather than something else.

Who will I actually be dealing with?

Two people, and no one else. Mind Edge Method is Allan Galang and Helen Fong. Between us, every request that arrives here is read personally. There is no intake team, no call centre, no assistant, and nobody you speak to once and never see again.

The consultation and the sessions are run by me. That is also why this practice takes six engagements a month instead of sixty. It is not a positioning choice, it is the honest limit of doing this work properly.

It means your situation stays between you and us, rather than being filed with an organisation. For most of the people who do this work, that is the point.

Is this confidential?

Completely. Nothing is filed with any insurer or institution and nothing is documented in any external system. The level of discretion is closer to working with a private attorney than anything else.

Is this done in person or by video?

Entirely by video, and that is deliberate rather than a limitation. You are in your own space. There is no waiting room, no reception desk, and nobody sees you arrive or leave. For most of the people I work with, that is the reason this is possible at all.

What matters is the setup at your end. A room with a door that closes, 90 minutes without interruption, and a connection that holds. That is the entire requirement.

What if it comes back?

A discharged pattern does not reassemble itself. What does happen occasionally is that a second, separate pattern surfaces once the first one is out of the way. It was always there, sitting underneath.

If that happens we look at it on the follow up, which is about a week after we finish rather than a month. A week is close enough that you still remember exactly what changed, and long enough that you have been back in real conditions and tested it without meaning to. I will tell you honestly if it does not need further work.

What are your credentials?

I hold no clinical licence, and nobody should engage me for anything that requires one. If a situation calls for regulated care I say so on the call and point the person toward it.

What I do sits outside that. No governing body certifies the removal of a stored pattern inside a single session, because the profession that would certify it does not exist yet. The usual proof is therefore not available to me, and I am not going to assemble something that resembles it to fill the gap.

Here is what I put in its place. Eighteen years developing this, fifteen of them without charging properly for it, because I was not yet certain enough that it held. A defined process rather than an improvised conversation. And a standard that says if session one does not produce a shift you can feel, the work stops and you are not charged.

That last one is the only credential I would ask you to weigh, because it is the only one that costs me something if it turns out not to be true. You have spent a career reading people who claim more than they can deliver. Read this the same way you read those. By what happens in front of you, in the first hour.

Why is there a limit on how many people you take?

Because I do the sessions myself and there is no team behind me doing them. Six engagements a month is the honest capacity for one person doing this at the level it needs to be done. When the month is full, the next application goes to the following month.

What happens after I submit the form?

One of us reads it, usually the same day. If it looks like a fit you will hear from us within one business day to arrange a 20 minute private call. That call is with me, because I run every consultation personally rather than handing it to a scheduler. I will ask you what is happening, tell you plainly whether this is work I can do, and answer anything you want to ask before you commit to anything. There is nothing to buy on that call.

What if I am not sure this is my real problem?

That is a reasonable place to be and it is exactly what the consultation is for. Twenty minutes, no cost, no obligation. Some of those calls end with me telling someone this is not their issue and pointing them somewhere better. That is a good outcome, not a failed one.

One Decision

Twelve months from now you will either still be managing this, or you will have resolved it.

Nothing about the pattern changes on its own. It has had years to prove that. The consultation is 20 minutes, it is private, and there is nothing to buy on the call.
